Band Hub

I shall be performing within The Wee Red Bar's Band Hub session on (this) Friday the 3rd of June. It's at the Edinburgh College of Art, as listed here, and I'll be on first so try to get there for 7pm!
As this show is short-notice and I've got a lot else to concentrate on, I can't summon particular promotional effort. On the 20th of June, though, I shall be performing a launch gig for my album at The Montague, St. Leonard's Street. More details shall follow.

Laughed At Unneeded Love

The third song I've finished today, this one just appeared very quickly this evening. It's free, so download here.

Vain

Okay, as the second in my weeks of recapping a previous album, here's my 'debut', Vain. Fourteen tracks from about as many months (2007-2008), production qualities were patchy as I taught myself how to put a song together, and with this comes an eclecticism. I was more shy of my songs, and this shows in the vocals.
Download it for free here.
As it's quite a while since I've heard these recordings, and almost four years since I made some of them, this write-up may read more as a review than the writer's explanation.

Out of the Bedroom

I finally got around to downloading Out of the Bedroom's free MP3s, and if you like free music from Edinburgh performers hosted on that very site, you should do the same.

Out of the Bedroom is a weekly Open Mic Night hosted at The Montague Bar on St. Leonard's Street, Edinburgh every Tuesday night. It does what the pop charts don't: Encourages and rewards original songwriting.
You can visit to listen or participate, or just sign-up to their newsletter for regular MP3s and a reassurance that music is still made somewhere. I'll go along tomorrow if health permits

Nervous Rec.

To download the album for free, click here.

Just ten tracks, 35 minutes, and far more cohesive than the first one. Some of the songs somewhat beg for superior rerecordings, but not until I can make 1. them perfect and 2. money from them.

Together, if all is as intended, the piece is both bleak and catchy. Let's look at the tracks.
